I really wanna develop for the two eggs. I'm running windows and I can use Visual C++, DevCpp and have to a lessor extent used gpp.

Are these going to be options for the 2X?
I haven't got any knowledge of cygwin and vague knowledge of Linux.

I really I'm not to bad a programmer if I can use tools designed for windows (even dos like the early Borland C).

I'm just a bit apprehensive that there isn't going to be any serious attempt to cater for windows developers by GPH

Don't worry, there will be a version of GCC for the GP2X, most likely hosted here: http://www.devkit.tk/

Throw together a few perl scripts, and you can use it under visual C++ without much worries (course you won't be able to use VC++ to debug it, but at least you can use the editor).

There will probably be a GP2X emulator before long too.

Haha, two eggs, really funny.

Yeah well, I find gp2x to be hard to say and hard to type fast. If there was a forum smiley for it like for the gp32 gp32_console I'd use that :p
