Hello,

New to the forum and interested in this device.
Lot's of info and wondering if there is a link that discussed
software for creating applications.

(If this hardware is unable to play Dangun Feveron, I wouldn't
mind making a similar game for it at some stage:))

Aaahhh....
I'll probably get someone else to do the programming
as I would just likely stick with the graphics and animation
side of things.

I'm looking forward to java programming since it's the only thing I have experience in. Tried SDL but C++ is so confusing!

We've caught this one early, it's not widely used.
We may have lost "ATM", "PIN", and "RISC", but dammit, we WILL hold "SDK"!!

I'm from Sweden and I know what ATM stands for (we don't use the term over here). Can't say I know PIN and RISC though, but I use PINs every day. I suspect that N stands for number and saying PIN-number might be weird.

Over here we say "CD-skiva" and "DVD-skiva", "skiva" is Swedish for disc :)

PIN is the Personal Identification Number, or PIN ... number.

You can scratch RISC off, it's technically "Reduced Instruction Set ComputING", so it's probably acceptable to say "RISC computer", since RISC refers to the concept.

However, we [the Guild of National Grammar Socialists] should keep a close eye on ARM, the Advanced RISC Machine.

So, technically the Pandora is an ARM, not an ARM computer, since computer and machine are pretty much interchangeable.

I know it's technically fascism, but I wanted the joke to ...

Oh, wait, I get it.
Fine, Grammar Fascists.
But are we a guild, an association, or a group? Or an alliance?

That kinda thing does tick me off tho. Saw this band & a song of theirs was called "F*ck the ATM machine"... needless to say they're a bunch of meatheads & probably didn't even realize it's redundant...

But National Socialism is the real name of nazism. So i find it very appropriate.

+1 for Grammar National Socialists

:D

This makes me think of "Bredon Hill", near where I grew up.

Bre = Celtic origin, means "Hill"
Don = Old english, means "Hill"
Hill = Modern english, (...)

(and also the mountain in Discworld called "Yourfingeryoufool")

[edit] yeep - there's loads of em: CODE
