Hey, I'm experiencing problems with my gp2x, it doesnt read my memory card and takes FOREVER to load NAND memory. Please help.

Elaborate.

Did you first format the card as FAT32?
Are you using a card reader? (I highly recommend you get one if not)
What, specifically, takes forever to load from your NAND?

Ok, I mean as if I open "explorer" and open NAND overall, not a specific file, and I'm sure my card is FAT32, but when I right click it on my computer, it says it is FAT

... how are you sure it's FAT32, if your PC says FAT?

And for crying out loud, get a card reader :p

Get one of these to access your SD card:

Your GP2X is probably fine. I am (and looks like TelcoLou is) still pretty confused as to what you are doing and how things are going wrong though.

A basic suggestion: Do not put the SD card in the GP2X and then connect the GP2X to your computer with a USB cable. This is known to not work very often. Get a separate card reader and use that to format the SD card and load things onto it.
