Thanks for that info, they were some that I've missed along the way.

The only benefit for the faster card would if you were to transfer information to that card from something that can handle the speed better than Pandora. Looks like I'll just be stocking Class VI cards in the shop after giving it some thought. Now the hard part, finding a price point that can beat NewEgg or MicroCenter, not an easy task.

I also just found this on the wiki: SDHC Compatibility List, and there are some C10 cards listed there as working, though how many people each one has worked for I do not know.

Also, you're bound to get people demanding the best possible cards anyway, so you might want to stock up on a handful and just add a disclaimer to the listing.

OT: 500th post!

So has anyone had proubs with the class 10 cards?
Some people have, yes. In general, you don't want anything higher than a Class 6, because the Pandora cannot make use of the the extra speed anyway
On the grounds that the class represents the minimum sustained write speed, the Pandora, with it's anecdotal 16MB/s speeds, can most definitely take advantage of a class 10 card.

However, you aren't likely to actually require a sustained minimum write speed of any kind. If you've got a class 6 card which usually does the 18MB/s, but occasionally drops to 6MB/s for a few seconds, is that going to cause problems? No. The reason you need Class 10 cards is for applications where you can't afford to have the write drop below 10MB/s, usually high quality HD video recording.

In fact, you could probably get away with a class 4 or even class 2.

I must admit, on the matter of speedy SD Cards, I'm dropping down to a 32GB Class *2* SanDisk card, so that I can have reliable writes from it, for my novel. (My Class 6 Verbatim card, which is a card where I encounter file corruption on occasion, will now be for data that doesn't need to be changed often, instead.)

^ This can depend on what brand and what speed (basically, some manufacturers use oddball parts that work strangely and cause problems, and some fast cards can run into issues with corrupting files that are being written to them). You may want to hop back to the first page of this thread, as there's a bit of information scattered throughout it about this.

Just got in some nice cardboard speakers, earbuds, and earclip headphones. Green Design: Sleek low impact packaging, ROHS approved (No hazardous materials are contained in the production of any electronics), recycled paper & biodegradeable plastic packaged

I don't have one yet.

Do the 32gb sdhc work properly without any issues.
I'm running 2 Dane elec 32gb sdhc class 10 cards and haven't had a issue yet. Bought them new from newegg for 49 each. Good deal I think. Also for the love of God do not buy off eBay. They are fakes.

Yeah and don't buy a preloaded "stacked" Pandora SD card on Ebay for $200 for a "service". "Some peoples kids I tell ya"
