Would there be an issue if I simply copied and pasted a Wikipedia page directly onto one of the http://wiki.gp2x.org/wiki pages?

A good example would be Secure Digital Card:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure_Digital
and
http://wiki.gp2x.org/wiki/Secure_Digital_card

I chose this as an example because it is something generic (not specific to GP2x anyways), and the information doesn't have to come directly from GP2x'ers.

I've hesitated to do it for reasons such as plagiarism. The page could be copied and then re-oriented as a GP2x specific page such as featuring tutorials and the like.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Why not just use an interwiki link directly to the pages in question?

If you want to include additional information about the format or storage options, make that a separate page?

Copying a Wikipedia page into another Wiki is a bad idea. If the page gets updated, your copied version will be out of date.

Instead you should use an Interwiki link.
