Has any gotten to work yet? I am not getting an icon in the taskbar? I read the docs and they say that the program needs the gtk and

gstreamer libraries. Anyone know where I can get these? I assume they go in the radiotray folder in the appdata. Thanks for any advice...

Yup doesent work for me either. It wont launch.Didnt look at docs yet though.I have firefox running but radiotray does nothing.

Every thing you need should be in the pnd or on the OS (which comes with gtk and gets loads of gstreamer libs added by the Community Codec pack). Please can you let me know what /tmp/pndrun_radiotray says?

It's independent of firefox. But you don't get a small icon to the left of the battery indicator when you run it no?

It's works fine for me, but is this not working for anyone else?

Shite. It's because I've got catfish installed on my nand, so I didn't realize that xdg would be missing for everyone else. I'll fix it and re-upload.

EDIT: okay, re-upped with pyxdg. Should work now - thanks Farox.

That would be great. Thanks freamon

Thanks freamon B)

Now works but only after a second run...at first it exit... but sorry don't know the error this time.

Now i'm enjoying "80's Sky.fm"

Thanks a lot for this ;)

I have been trying to add some stations (namely Holiday, Big Band, Oldies). So far all of the ones I have picked do not play. They are all giving the same error namely: gstreamer plugin missing. I have seen other people talking about this type of error on the Internet. Is there a fix for us now or do we have to wait for the next upgrade? Oh, the stations I have been trying to add are from Big R. Radio and allDANZ Radio. Thanks much for any help.....

Re: Big R Radio, it's probably just because the feed urls that stations tend to make public link into their web flash player (I had the same problem when adding BBC stations). The solution is to get the feeds from shoutcast.com or listenlive.eu. From shoutcast (rightt-click and Copy Link Address to get url from their search results):

Code:
Big R Radio Erins Chill

http://yp.shoutcast.com/sbin/tunein-station.pls?id=117663

Big R Radio 80s FM

http://yp.shoutcast.com/sbin/tunein-station.pls?id=396618

Big R Radio 80s Metal

http://yp.shoutcast.com/sbin/tunein-station.pls?id=134938

Big R Radio 80s and 90s Pop Mix

http://yp.shoutcast.com/sbin/tunein-station.pls?id=24663

Big R Radio 70s and 80s Pop Mix

http://yp.shoutcast.com/sbin/tunein-station.pls?id=331365

Big R Radio 100.7 The Mix

http://yp.shoutcast.com/sbin/tunein-station.pls?id=24327

Big R Radio 100.5 Classic Rock

http://yp.shoutcast.com/sbin/tunein-station.pls?id=27258

Big R Radio 101.6 Warm Hits

http://yp.shoutcast.com/sbin/tunein-station.pls?id=1515630

That said, I chanced across a better source here: http://flv.bigrradio.com/

For each station, find mountpoint '100point3mp3' and right-click and Copy Link Address on either 'm3u' or 'pls' to get a workable url, e.g.

Code:
Big R Radio Oldies

http://flv.bigrradio.com/100point6mp3.m3u

------------

Dunno about AllDanz though, are they a legit station or do they leech content from other stations? (If the latter, you'll need to search shoutcast for the station they're actually playing).

Thanks much for the tip. I will try it out. I used the URL's from the Big R Radio and allDANZ websites and they are different from the ones you listed above, so hopefully they will work. Thanks again....

Well freamon I tried the URL's that you suggested and they worked perfectly. Thanks a million. Now I can listen to music while I am working on the Pandora.

I am seeing that some stations connect (icon turns light blue), but I still get no sound. Strange. I am wondering if the station

is just off for the moment.

How about an upgrade to 0.7.1? (0.6.4)Anyone else having buffering issues, it just disconnects with no reconnection after playing for a little while.

I love this app and have just noticed that it's been updated, what's new?

I love this app and have just noticed that it's been updated, what's new?

bugfixes mostly, by the look of it (see changelog at http://radiotray.sourceforge.net/)

For stations that announce the songs, there's a popup which displays artist / songtitle (pretty sure that wasn't there before).

There's more stations in the default list (I removed the ones that didn't work)

You no longer need the Codec Pack installed, as all the relevant libs / gst-plugins are in the PND (plus some irrelevant ones as well, but never mind).

Hmmmm the new version isn't working for me.

I deleted the pnd & the app folder and that solved it. There are loads more radio stations built in now. It would be awesome if they had the station icons to make it easier to browse them.

re-upped. PXML still had 'fireworks' as appdata from last pnd I did, so that may have caused problems.
