Question On Smc Readers


Errm, guys, you can change the drive letter to whatever you like, if you're using windows.
My card reader has Z ;)

Actually I have heard a rumor that it starts to use double letters like AA: AB: AC: ect.... can't confirm it though.

i think it cant happen, windows will name the other stuff AB AC and so on

But then you're screwed, you just can't add any more, and besides, you really ought to buy a bigger harddisk and get rid of those 40meg hard disks you keep on hoarding! :D
 
you could just start mounting things until you run out of leters
if anyone want to see for themself be my guest
 
The mac mounts volumes according to their name. When I put my SMC into the reader it pops up in my desktop as 'GP32' and I just use it like any disk before ejecting it.
