Question About Saving On Emulators

If I was playing a ROM on an emulator that doesn't support savestates and wanted to save my game so I could resume at the place I saved at later, would it erase that save or would it not be erased?

Generally speaking, if the emu supports SRAM saves, then yes, your game's save will be there next time.

Thanks. Do Gnuboy Debian-Sonic Release, DrMDx and FCE-Ultra gp2x support it? It doesn't say it on their download pages.

I know DrMDx does, haven't tried the other ones though.

I MUCH prefer save states ... they're making it possible for me to (finally) finish Kid Chameleon

Thanks, I'll just test it when I get a GP2X unless someone else knows and will post here in the future before I test it.

Yeah, savestates are for-the-win.
Especially considering that all of the emulators I run APPEAR to support SRAM, but for some reason do not...
