Psp Euro Date Set

i've got no dust and one dead (not stuck) pixel.

no word of a lie, it took me a good few hours of gaming and staring intently to notice it, i now don't ever even see it.

i'm currently loving ridge racers and tiger woods, not really touched tony hawks at all!

I got Tany Hawks today, and so far haven't enjoyed it. It just doesn't seem like fun! So much to remember!

Ridge Racer is pure fun, and the pacing is great. When you win a round you really feel like you've achieved something!

But Fifa's on it's way... :D

I was going to get Fifa, but it only got 7.0 on IGN, and apparntly feels rushed. Now I'm not so sure.

Have any of you, who allready have gotten a PSP, been hit with import taxes/customs?

The bloke next to me was trying to collect his car imported from Holland. The import officer casually wandered over to him and said "Yes, we have your car for you, just fill in this form and pay the import duty and off you go. The amount to pay is 5300 euros...".... The look on the poor buggers face.......

wow! import taxes must be a huge thing in europe.

and tell us how good fifa is once you get it!! that game better not suck

Can you play link up games with other region PSP's?

I'd only be able to afford 1 game if I chose to import. What would you fellows says is the 1 must have game at the moment?

PSP's yes, different region games, no.

I have one japanese PSP and one US one, and me and my wife can play linkup games no problem so long as both copies are the same region ONLY.

memnoch, everything i said about my psp i was kind of just going on, the little white thing i can see when the screen is all black never seems to show up when a game is playing, and i say my square button is funny cause sometimes on ridgeracer i cant manage to make the car slide, making me think it was the squre button but i think its just me, trust me, when you get your psp you'll love it

Gotta ask something. How do the media player functions in PSP stack up? MP3, etc?
Video?

I for one can vouch for the video playback from the Memorycard. It's very easy to do, doesn't take too long to encode, and is very satisfying!

The MP3 playback is fine, but why would anyone waste valuble battery life on mp3s when mp3 players do so much better! The battery lasts an ok 10ish hours when just playing music, not soooo bad....

I have a couple of albums on my card, several simpsons, fawlty towers episodes etc.

I do like the Jpeg viewer. I can have pics of my daughter on there to cheers me up etc.

(I won't mention the potential for portable porn! B) )

Overall, it compliments the game playing options nicely! But it's still a gaming machine!

Cheers for the advice guys. I've ordered a Jap PSP with a copy of Twisted Metal. I know it's not the most graphically impressive game but it's FUN and that's what gaming is about. :)
What are you talking about? the graphics are really nice in Twisted metal

They're good but not the brightest on the PSP and certainly dont show off the PSP as other games do.
