I noticed that port requests are seemingly located haphazardly, so here is a location that I have created for such a purpose.

My request was for someone to port Counter-Strike 2D to the Pandora, as it has loads of online server support (both official and unofficial), mods and maps available. http://www.cs2d.com/ It requires Open GL (check), a 500 mhz processor (double check), and 64 megabytes of ram (no sweat). Not to mention, it has a version for Linux. It is also just like its big brother, so it is definitely a worthwhile game to port!

I just took a look around the website

It doesn't seem to be open source

I think you will have to ask the original creators to port it themselves.

Someone ported Another World (Eu) / Out of This World to the Dingoo too. Anyone want to bring this over to the Pandora, GOG.com has a 15th Anniversary Edition for $9.99 right now.

Enjoyed the hell out of this!

    Peace & Pandoraing On!

The company said that it may work on the Pandora, but there might be inconsistencies in the way it works. Someone with a Pandora, please try it out. http://www.cs2d.com and download the Linux version. The Zip has all files in one folder, so that should probably work better. Although, you could always try the executable file.

I found something open source which I am a bit surprised no one have even discussed on the boards before. Remember the good ol' Macintosh Classic? I found a very small, very good emulator (for windows) for it yesterday and after a bit of fiddling I got some of my old Mac Classic games to actually work on it (Hurrah!). However, it would be really nifty if it could run on the Pandora.

The Emulator is named Mini vMac and can be found on http://minivmac.sourceforge.net/, open source and already can be found ported to things such as iPhone, Nintendo DS and what not.

Something I'd like to use on the Pandora is Skype although it's not open source. :/ However, I read somewhere about an opensource frontend i believe. Perhaps this could somehow be used to get skype running on the Pandora? I don't really have much knowledge about source code and porting applications.

Nope. A front-end is a font-end and has nothing to do with the core program's functionality. If the core library, which is still completely closed source and full of obfuscate magic to keep the reverse-engineering guys on distance, is not able to run, you can't do anything with the front-end.

Has anyone heard of Löve? It's an open-source Lua interpreter and 2D game engine/API. The code is in c++, and I can't imagine its particularly memory-intensive. Does anyone reckon that it could be viable to port to Pandora?

Has anyone tried out the Linux version of Counter-Strike 2D on a Pandora?

I would also like to see a port of the Dingoo game 7 Days: Salvation on the Pandora. It was included with the Dingoo and available on other devices as well, so it might be opensource.

from the wiki :You must provide a link to the source code. If you cannot do this, please do not add a request

Teeworlds could use some custom controls. I'm thinking left nub for movement + jump, right nub for aiming, left trigger for the hookshot thingy, right trigger for shooting and a/b for switching weapons.

    Or something like that. :)

I haven't actually had chance to play this yet, having just found it a moment ago. It looks very interesting, apparently a remake of Laser Squad, a game that I loved on Spectrum and Amiga. I looked in their Wiki and the author is happy to supply source code. Check it out.

could unknown-horizons be ported to pandora?

It seems that it uses SDL, OpenAL, and Python.

Maybe but this quote from their website makes me wonder if it would be worth to try:
