eh? A bulb would work either way around. A multimeter would be the best way. If you place the red probe in the centre and the black probe on the outside and it shows a negetive value, it's centre-negetive, and a positive value means centre-positive (as long as your probes are in the right terminals - black negetive, red positive on the multimeter).Squidge posted on May 26 2004 at 09:38 PM said:I'd be very careful with Crocomire's advice at some people have just "bunged it in" and seen there gp32 never work again, so be careful!
If the adaptor doesn't state the polarity, you can figure it out with a meter or even an LED or bulb![]()
I've accidentally tried turning on my GP32 with the opposite polarity and 4.5v and it didn't do any harm to mine. I guess mine is just luckySquidge posted on May 26 2004 at 02:38 PM said:I'd be very careful with Crocomire's advice at some people have just "bunged it in" and seen there gp32 never work again, so be careful!
