Purists will be pleased to know that the Wiz has a proper D-pad this time, and while it's still not quite as good as we might have hoped (it's somewhat on the spongy side, and could do with having a solid pivot point) the difference between this machine and its precursor is substantial.
What's that part about the pivot?! Don't tell me they removed it o_O
We were begging so much for it and I am so happy that the Wiz I've got still has it!

I finally got my Wiz yesterday. Mine seems to have a pivot. It works great! It's actually a decent d-pad. The x,y,b,a buttons seem a tad close for certain games, but the d-pad is good. I don't think they removed the pivot.

Mmm.. read reviews of the Wiz & the Dingoo..
Surprised to see neither are huge steps forward from the gp2x.. (guess blitter not yet used on Wiz?)
Think I'll be sticking with my gp2x until (maybe) the pandora or future devices are released; shame.
