Pc Engine Games

Then have you heard TG16 or TurboGraphix? That's the name for it in some countries. I'm not sure excatly where call it PC-engine and where TG16 though.

EDIT:It has many great shooters and cute action games, and the first console which has CD-ROM media. (And the famous game "Dracula: The Rondo of the Blood" :) )

Cute? You bet

So are we saying that it runs at 100% on most games ?

I loved my Turbographix 16 when I was a wee lad. To have it back at 100%, on a handheld no less, would be awsome. :)

It runs way better on the Zodiac through DreamEngine for now and at fullscreen!!

Yeah all stretched and blurred out, Yuk.

A commercial emulator that you have to buy and is DRMed to one unit that has been through many updates is better than a free alpha version? Imagine that, who would have thought.

To bad the source for GPengine is gone it was better then all of these (except for saves).

The games i tried run around 85-90 percent speed @ 200mhz so it has a little way to go to be "perfect"

I can live with that :)

Thanks for answering my question.

I don't think it's important, because the source for the new PCEngine emulator still exists.

perhaps not 100% but pretty close to 100% most of the time. Some games have minor slowdowns once in a while too. But I bet that with 266mhz all those problems would be gone anyway :D

Blurred!?! I don't think so... I have both Emu's running using the same roms.....

Like I had said: I'll stick with the Zodiac version until the GP2x version is the same or better than DreamEngine's and when the TV-out cable is released!!

EDIT: People, don't forget to play Atomic Robo Kid on the GP2XPCEngine and on Dr.MDx for Genesis version Great Game! Compare.....
There are others games to compare that were out for both systems:
Outrun
AfterBurnerII
SpaceHarrierII
others...

Yes blurred. When you stretch and scale out the image and add that awful "smoothing" It blurs out the edges, I hate that.

hmm I actually like the blurred, stretch and scaled image.

I don't know how it will look in the zodiac.
