PayPal payment not possible at the DragonBox Shop at the moment

OMG :(

setup a second online shops ?
Well, it's not OMG, I still offer enough other payment methods. Credit Card should be fine for mostly everyone as well.

But yes, I own the domain everdrive.de, so I might setup a shop there which uses the same customer details and accounts but offers only Everdrives (without PayPal payment).

"I've checked that with a lawyer before, and Everdrives are legal (as they only exist for systems, where there manufacturer doesn't do any hard- and software repairs anymore), but PayPal is not okay with that."

I approve of this statement^

Paypal really was a great service at a time, but now the power has gone way to their heads. They now do the craziest most unexplainable shit on the planet.

Well, I can partly understand them.

They don't want to get involved with illegal stuff, which is perfectly understandable, and they're extra careful.

However, the solution I provided (disable PayPal for Everdrives) would've been a good one in my opinion.

But I guess the reason they don't want that is because it's not good for their image.

A shop offering items and only some are payable via PayPal sounds like it's their fault (which it is ;) )

But a shop not offering PayPal at all sounds like it's the shops' fault.

They want to keep a good image but don't want to be involved in illegal stuff.

At least I'm glad I bought my Everdrive at the right time.

They also talked me into buying something I didn't need recently with a $20 off deal that didn't work, and aren't responding to complaints.

I am somewhat surprised it took them this long to do this.  I know paypal and ebay in some countries don't allow flash carts, but I thought maybe they were ok with it in Germany.  I am pretty sure this comes down to them trying to cover their ass in case Nintendo, Sega, etc. try to take legal action against them.  I understand it, but I don't agree with it.  I can still buy other stuff that can be used for criminal activity using paypal.

Everdrives are something completely different from Flashcards.
