hello

will the pandoras be send with the installed hotfix5?

I wouldn't count on it, I'm pretty sure when I got mine that hotfix 4 had been out a while and it hadn't been applied to my unit. It's really easy to apply the new ones though so it's not a problem.

I've received mine with Hotfix 5 RC2 from EDs shop, being plesantly surprised since I don't have any SD cards for flashing yet. And that was just a few days before the final Hotfix 5 was released.

some quirks?

the hotfix 5 wasn't considered as a stable version?

Well, remember, Windows Vista was considered a stable version. :-)

Seriously, just because it's a stable version doesn't mean there will be no need to patch anything. It's always possible for there to be some little issues that only get worked out after the stable version. Otherwise there wouldn't be any need for software to have version numbers like 3.6.14.

Its also the same with Ubuntu, they come out with major stable releases, ending in .04 or .10, and if you install those you have to install a FLOOD of updates. The reason being most users only use stable releases so the test releases are used by a small number. When it comes out as 'stable' more users are using it and more bugs are found.

Stable releases are never really stable until they have been out for a while.
