Recently came across my old Pandora. It's never been upgraded.
I tried full flashing 1.76 and it gives me this:
reading boot.scr
5190852 bytes read
## Executing script at 82000000
Wrong image format for "source" command
script failed.

What should I do?

I always updated per version, so didn't skip the intermediate versions. Maybe try incremental updates instead of going to the last one directly?

Thanks for your time. I'm getting the same issue sadly, even when I update from the first one to the next.

I remember that at some point there was a version that changed the bootloader and it was important for all the updates after that one, but I don't remember the number.

Maybe describe the current steps you perform.

If I remember correctly:
have the Pandora in the off-state,
you can place an SD-card in the left slot with the files for an (full) OS update,
hold right shoulder button and power-on the Pandora,
keep holding R until you see the boot screen,
select the option to install OS from SD-card.

If you boot form the SD-card directly u-boot loads the boot.scr and apparently something fails there.
Maybe if you try starting the installation from boot-screen it behaves differently.

I did all of this and get that option to install OS from SD-card. Same issue when selecting that sadly.
