Amiga: http://www.lemonamiga.com/?mainurl=http%3A//www.lemonamiga.com/games/details.php%3Fid%3D814 (same game as ST)
C64: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZRnWiFTvnI (same game as ST/Miggy)

NES: http://www.gamespot.com/pages/image_viewer/boxshot.php?pid=578502&popup=0 (Actually a Lupin game, called Pandora)

SNES: Have to reach I guess .. one of the FF games has a "Pandora Castle" section?

BBC, no go. Atari XE I think there was something, have to go looking. No Pandora's for MVS/AES Neo Geo..

Did I miss anything?

The game... I think you just lost it.
So did you.

On topic: aww, I thought you had made one :). Although I'd guess you're kinda busy :p

So many games named "Pandora", none of them about the mythological character at all.
I mean most of them not even close.

Sure, the myth is a bit weak, but it could be used as a starting point. Many games started with less story!

(Cool cover art on the Amiga one, though. Looked like Silent Running. (Or Starlost))

The other day I watched Avatar in 3D and noticed that the planet they were in was called Pandora. B)

1: There was a Net Yaroze title for the PlayStation titled Pandora's Box - it was a 3D first-person Sokoban clone.

2: I've never played it, but in 1984, Konami released an arcade game called Pandora's Palace.

3: This last one is a major stretch, but one of the supporting antagonists in Mega Man ZX for the Nintendo DS is called Pandora.

Those are all I can think of right now. :p

A game about Pandora handheld could be nice...

Imagine an adventure game in the style of classic ones, like Lucas Arts and such. The game would be an humorous recreation of the history behind Pandora and their involved creators.

Maybe you can start as Craig being a young game developer, that got into selling some weird nice machines that some bored people used it to port and develop homebrew stuff. Then finally joined others to make the definitive handheld for all us retro, homebrew and linux geeks:)

It can be a in the way of Maniac Mansion and Day of the Tentacle, featuring a few characters and able to switch between them. Craig, EvilDragon, MWeston, DJ Willis, Fatih and others.

And you can include SGGG-like stuff too (a mythical autobiographical game from SEGA for Dreamcast that parodies the unsucess of the system, before dying in their creative work force and getting bought by SAMMY with tons of nostalgia in their selling an an special Dreamcast looking like a classic SEGA system. Quite weird and originally only released in Japanese). Parodies of known developers from the community and people from forums, minigames and funny animated sequences.

Business simulation elements can be nice, but difficult to attach to a story.

I have in mind, as I mentioned a while ago, a JSW clone based on the Pandora and its development.

I have a nice sprite of Craig in a top hat. The idea of the game is either to get the Pandora out by collecting design info from community members (which they've left lying around the map), then collecting money orders whilst avoiding bank managers, paypal execs etc. Then a level where ED has lost the email addresses of customers which have to be recovered... Maybe a bit about needing to collect the nubs from an old abandoned company HQ before the receivers find them all, and finally maybe needing to collect other parts (such as the cases from a chinese factory) before packaging them all up - maybe by dropping parts into a manufacturing machine - and then getting them sent out.

Or it could be all about getting enough money from selling dodgy Speccy/Porn CDs and Pandora orders before retiring to a desert island.

The game engine is about done, I just have to get the levels and gfx done :)

I want to play this. Do you do unlockables? In that case, there NEED to be Craig-with-the-hat-he-likes, Craig-the-apprehended-noodlist...

And I also want to see a scene at sunset with EvilDragon staring in the distance, his hair flowing behind him like a majestic... majestic... mane?

And I have the feeling Borderlands has something to do with a certain Pandora too...

Also, a rather OT Pandora here :p

Perhaps Pandora.. The Game! could take on the style of a management game like SimSafari? That'd be pretty cool.

I like that the handheld actually has some semblance to the original story of pandora's box, but swap all evil with ultimate awesomeness that blew all evil closed-source handhelds away!

If the DS's graphics already stink, why make them worse with a huge screen?
