Origin of name 'Pandora'

Pandora is sort of the Greek Mythology version of Eve. She was the first woman, and was a gift from God to Man. And like Eve, she ended up being the cause a lot of problems. The difference is that Pandora was specifically intended to be a punishment. She was given all these gifts to trick Epimetheus into accepting her as a "gift".

Pandora was made to be enticing and beautiful, only to turn out to be a source of pain and misery. I don't know, the name seems to have negative connotations to me.

Isn't beautiful?

:) and if the customer is woman - come with naked man?
That's sexism! Far better if everyone gets a naked woman. They can also get a larger bulk discount that way at the naked-woman store.

Why did this thread end up so damn hilarious? I think it was triggered by the forum (or something) replacing the string "niggers"(which was actually "sniggers", pure innocence!) with "africanamericans".

And yeah, lol, not that naked woman, since in that paining she looks plastic, and if it was really Pandora, she'd be soil(dirt, earth) by now ;) . I guess if you're really lucky, craigix has recently been to Greece and still didn't wash his hands?
