hello

on my 1ghz pandora i've noticed that the battery consumption was important (almost 1% each hour in standby mode).

when i checked the opp settings i've found that it was set to 5 (the maximum).

is it the default value?

if i change it to 3 (the minimum), the cpu is clocked to 800mhz automatically.

so if i set the opp to 3 and change the cpu speed to 1ghz do you think the battery consumption will be better?

my pandora doesn't work with the NAND (which has a problem...)  but with a sd card.

do you think this has a consequence for the battery consumption?

1GHz OPP max is 4, but in standby mode it's automatically lowered.

Yes, SD have an impact.

Yes, SD have an impact.
even if it is in standby mode?

in this mode the sd card is not used. how can it has an impact on the battery consumption?

other question:

for the battery consumption is it better to set the opp to 3 and the cpu to 1ghz or is it better for the battery consumption to set the opp to 4 and cpu speed to 1ghz?

The SD card is powered off on suspend.

Consumption is lower on lower OPPs when your CPU is under load, and not so much lower when it's idle (it's turned off most of the time anyway). Note that when you underclock OPP is automatically lowered for you, but TI recommendations are followed, so OPP is 4 for 1GHz, 3 for 800MHz, etc regardless of what you set.
