Greetings all

Wanted to share this, I'm launching a new YouTube series today and the first product is a video review of the 1GHz Open Pandora with a plug for the Pyra at the end. I don't know who might still be interested in the Pandora at this late stage, but I still wanted to at least share:

The premiere is today at 4PM EST, I'd be very interested in what you think of the video or if you have an opinion about the Pandora itself. Thanks!

Video is live! Looking for any inputs I can get on this one so please leave comments!

Wasn’t bad and quite professional looking whit the studio, and everything,
I was just putting my phone on the tripod, aim to the Pyra/Pandora/Switch Screen, Push Record and Say something, then uploading whiteout cutting ^^
But your video was quite professional, ..
are there more video on Pandora and Pyra planed after the Video you make when you got your Pyra?

Yeah, nice professional look that. I'd be interested in seeing a behind the scenes video because I suspect at least half of that studio is only there in post production. I'm also not sold on the polo shirt and blazer look, but that might just be me.

One factual correction, the Pandora wasn't designed in Germany, it was designed in the UK by a certain now pariah-state user here.

He does say he plans a follow up video when he gets his Pyra, so I'll be looking forward to that.

The only comment that I have that would be different from any other comment given so far is that, technically, the Pyra’s already been released since before you made your video (unless by “released” you mean all preorders shipped and it’s readily available off-the-shelf) ?

Thank you! Yes, I'm definitely going to do a followup with the Pyra once I get it. Probably a little more in-depth than this, but that's why I posted this video here, so I could get an idea for what questions people might have about the Pyra and what I should include in the next one. I just did a surface-level review of the Pandora this time around, but if there's interest in specific aspects of it I can definitely do more on the Pandora too.

In all honesty the wardrobe was just me trying to be neutral (that's why it's all neutral colors, grey and black) for my first outing, I wasn't sure what might resonate with folks so I just took a neutral approach. The next one will be much more relaxed.

And my fault on the research failure--I wasn't around for the design phase so I did what people aren't supposed to do and made an assumption. (I won't even ask about the pariah-state user here, I'm sure it's a good story though.)

And yes, I'll definitely be doing a followup when my Pyra gets here, that's why I shared the Pandora one--I wanted to try and get an idea what people would be interested in seeing/hearing about or what the pressing issues would be. (I started another thread that specifically talks about what Pandora users that have their Pyras think of the latter, and it's producing some excellent responses.)

That too was an assumption on my part--at the time I recorded that I did read that the pre-orders were shipping/had shipped, but it also looked like there were still adjustments being made so I wasn't quite sure how to phrase it. I figured the conservative approach was probably best, but...again, assumptions :)
