Nubs not working correctly

I recently purchased an open pandora off ebay after alot of waiting and searching, hoping for a great item for programming and gaming. I am mostly pleased with the unit except the nubs don't seem to work correctly. They will sometimes only go in one direction and not the other, and the movement seems to vary, it is not any one direction it has issues with, it varies. IT is a first batch unit if that helps. Please let me know if anyone has had any similar issues and if so, then what was the solution. Thank you!

Welcome to the club!

Try moving the nubs in circles for a while after each boot.

The autocalibration system works, but doesn't remember settings after a shutdown/reboot.

Having said this, suspend/powersaving works nicely in the superzaxxon (1.5x) firmware so there is no real reason to power off your pandora for any time period shorter than a week.

Make sure you go to nubs setting in menu and check left nub to scroll and right nub to click/highlight . If you haven't already done so   .

The moving it around on start up helped a little, but the movements are still labored in certain directions. but now when I release the nub the mouse keeps going. Any other ideas?

I have the same issue on my Rebirth Pandora.. never seemed to have the issue on my First Batch and that one saw a lot more use. It's a bit of a mystery as the right nub seems to respond well..

there is.

when you want to remove one sd card to insert it in a laptop for example.

this can't be made if the suspend mode is active.

i don't know if it can be made in the "normal" mode.

^why don't you wake up the Pandora before ejecting it and then suspend it again.. There is no need to power off the pandora.

aaahh!! i thought it was not recommended to eject it at all during this mode^^ lol

thanks for the precision.

'mount menu' is a great bunch of scripts. Especially if umount  /media/sdcardname brings on a fit of technophobia :)
