Hi,

while browsing the Pyra-Wiki, I've come across the nub tech-paper:

2 Key features:
direct knob force feedback

5.1 Mechanical Specs:
Vibration: 10-500-10Hz 15 minutes, 12 cycles, 3 axes (total 36 cycles)

Sounds awesome to have the integrated vibration of the pyra and pure Nub based force feedback or vibration for the individual thumb in games or as a click and drag feedback.

Unfortunately that's not correct. According to the wiki page (https://www.pyra-handheld.com/wiki/index.php?title=Nubs), the first 5000 Pyras will come with the N50P105 type of nubs. The datasheet linked in the wiki (http://www.mouser.com/ds/2/588/N50P105_Datasheet_EN_v4-272811.pdf) indeed states force feedback on the first page. I'm sure that this means the little springs that return the nub to the center position, not the vibramotor type of force feedback. The quoted data in the mechanical specifications section refers to the physical resistance to vibration, not the operating conditions of a vibramotor. Figure 6 on page 5 seems to confirm this, as the circuit diagram of the whole unit is a mere pushbutton. (The position sensing element is another module, as shown by figure 4 on page 4.) That said, the Pyra does have a vibramotor. It's on the top side of the motherboard, near the display hinge. Picture: https://pyra-handheld.com/boards/ubergall/gallery-images/Mainboard-2.jpg

@Kolbász Thanks a lot for clearing that up.

I knew about the vibramotor in the pyra but thought (and hoped after reading the spec-sheet) for an even more individual force feedback.

Well, we can't have everything.

You're welcome. As for having everything, I guess one coud look into -for example- dualshock controller support in linux...
