If you watch the first video showing TV out you can see some type of device hooked up to the devboard that looks like VGA with Component out as well.

Does this mean A Pandora is capable of doing Digital TV-Out? Or is it just the dev boards?
Also if it is just the dev boards, umm WHY?!

That's the breakout board, with serial, audio and video in/out. There's no VGA/digital/component out, as has been explained at length on these boards in the past.

It is composite out (and s-video), that's all. MWeston has a breakout board (if that's what you are talking about). It has a serial port, but it is not a video port. Despite the similar form factor.

nah there's a vga port on the breakout board in the video...it's been confirmed as just for debugging though so don't get your panties in a wad.
:p

If you want to be pedantic it is likely a RS-232 port over DB9 connection.

A VGA port is a mini-DB15, also it is a different gender, so you really shouldn't be mixing up the the two.

Although if you have a link to a video that proves differently I would be glad to see it.

The debugging you're talking about is done over serial. That's definitely a DB9, not a VGA port. For debugging, you plug your computer serial-to-serial and it acts as a dumb terminal.

Neither VGA (RGB/HV to be exact) nor Component video is digital.
