I fell in that page just because I was searching for an old "Game & Watch" style game that I still didn't found emulated anywhere... and it was strange no one mentioned this before.
Seems to me a really basic thing just for collection... they could have included A LOT of games in it... but there are only 2 inside...

Basically it's running NES ROMs via an emulator. It does some live patching, so if you put another ROM in there (encrypted using the same XOR map) there's a danger it'll get something blatted by the code that's meant to update the copyright string, so there's a bit of work required to disable that and then he can start trying out other ROMs and see where it falls over.
