Sorry man. I only have the 1000. I got it for $66USD because the UMD drive was broken. I don't really use the PSP much.

I sincerely doubt the Pandora's screen is as bad as the psp-1000

It's not so much the ghosting itself that is a problem on the PSP-1000 screen, it's the way it ghosts. It's really more a color-bleeding problem than just a slow refresh time.

This video shows it fairly dramatically. Most of the screen looks okay, but the black windows bleed all over the place:

There was also a demo that came with LuaPlayer, showing a rotating cube with sides in primary colors. The bleeding on that was atrocious.

Not knowing anything much about LCDs, I can only guess what the cause is -- maybe the PSP subpixels 'get stuck' on black? (Going from pure-red to pure-blue would involve setting red to 0% and blue to 100%, and if blue was slow to come off 0% you'd get black for a while...)

As long as the screen doesn't do that (and we can see that it doesn't), then I'm sure I'll be happy with it.

There are two different times. Rr and Rf. Bleeding is the LCD's inability to perfectly block the light from coming through or even how the backlight is mounted (IE it can be a problem from shipping). Bleeding is very easy to see, it is apparent on static and motion screens and affects all types of panels. For reference the new 27" iMac is an IPS panel, but many people are experiencing a yellow tint bleeding through along the bottom, along with other problems.

This video shows off the PSP-1000 Response rising time. The result is which the window looks muddy because it's affected by the before image. So I've always said this was inverse ghosting.

How I've always tried diagnosing is: blur is ghosting (slow falling response time)/ muddy is inverse ghosting (slow rising response time).

I'd bet dollars to donuts, if you ran that same game on the Pandora, you wouldn't see the muddy image. You'd be able to make out the inner trim of the window, though most likely it would be blurred, but the black wouldn't consume ALL of the detail in the trim like the video above.

Again, this is how I've always understood it. I can be wrong.

I think most of the 16 bit system emulators default to 60hz (or at least have a toggle) traditionally anyway, the European versions of those consoles (particularly of the 16 bit era) were compromised by having to have 50hz PAL output. Even at the time 60hz modifications and imported US or Japanese systems were sought after by the purists!

I wouldn't bet on that - as I just wanted to show ghosting, I didn't setup the gamma and camera correctly for each device.
Just tried to fix the F200 afterwards, as it had terrible colors.

From my understanding the Pandora screen have a bit of a problem with black levels, compared to say the PSP screen Notaz showed.

Showing ghosting in a YouTube video doesn't seem like the best solution, even if the camera could capture it.
