Afternoon all ^^
Well after nearly 3 years of anticipation and one or two (I've lost count) years of extreme (omg just two more months!) anticipation, my Pandora finally arrived!
The postman who delivered it this morning clearly had no idea of what he was carrying, as he swung the package freely about in the pouring rain. But that matters not as it arrived safe and sound (and dry) It is now sat on my desk looking rather splendid.
First of all I would like to congratulate everyone on the Pandora team for bringing this epic project to it's conclusion. They must be very pleased in knowing all their hard work has paid off, and it really has, the Pandora looks stunning. All that extra tweaking was well, well worth it. I would also like to say a big thanks to the lovely ladies at support/sales. Especially Jaquelin for her kind emails and understanding.
Obviously further thanks is due to everyone in the community for all your hard work. I haven't used any of the apps or software yet, but without them the Pandora wouldn't be much use!
My own contribution is minuscule by comparison, but it is a contribution none the less.
I spent sometime making wallpapers for the Pandora. I did send some to ED, and he said he would included them in the Pandora OS with the other community ones. But alas he never did for some reason, so I have decided to post them here instead.
I made this first lot sometime ago for something non-Pandora related. As this is what I will be using on my Pandora - I thought others may want to as well. It's a bit of a niche subject and if you don't know what lcars is you probably won't have any interest. It's my own take on it.
This next one I made specifically for the Pandora - It's called PIM or Pandora Interface Module. Yes I know, I was having a particularly slow week.
That color doesn't show very well on the actual Pandora, so I changed the color to an amber and it looks much better. Both are included in the files, which I will attach at the end of this post.
I also made a bunch of normal Pandora related wallpapers, which you can find below.
I suppose I should post an obligatory pic of the actual Pandora, even though I'm sure you've all seen hundreds by now, and a lot better quality!
Oooo shiny!
And one more, you have to trust me the wallpaper looks a lot better in person!
Well that's about it from me, if you have any questions (I can't think what) your welcome to ask. Keep in mind that I have barely used it yet! One thing I have noticed is how wonderfull the screen both looks and operates, the touch screen is fantastic - very responsive. But you will all find out soon enough. - Sarlix
