ok so normaly i use my 2x on the mains, its great because im not constantly chargeing battarys, today i wanted a change, so before i went to work i put race (the modified one) and the pce emus on my SD card and put some battarys on charge, first off i couldnt get race to work (yes i red the readme), that didnt matter so much, nothing lost nothing gained.

anyway when i got home then i thourght oo lets try the battarys, i put them in (the right way) and flicked the switch down... nothing black screen, ok fair enough maybe my charger was lieing and they didnt actualy charge, so out came the battary tester, they were full, so then i thought shit is the 2x dead? so i plugged in mains and on it came shouting SEGA!!!! at me as usual.

so has the offical Gph mains adapter messed up (i think thats the professonal turm) my 2x and battarys?

any help would be apreciated (spelling?)

thanks

If you used the official adater and somehow blew your unit, I'd complain to whoever you bought the adapter from. Make a huge stink and get a new unit. Call craig and ask him to help you deal with GPH.

edit: ok good.

This is a known issue. When you have the AC adapter plugged in for X amount of time, the internal switch that changes power input from the batteries to the adapter gets stuck. That's why plugging and unplugging the AC adapter fixes it.

what happens when that doesn't help? I'm using the same adapter as ever, and now my batteries don't work. what does gph do for me? or do they tell me where to shove it?

do I open it and try to fix it myself? and why should I put up with this.

edit: well I fixed it with a plastic fork since I decided my adapter was too small to hit it in a meaningful way, but seriously--if it's a known issue, why isn't it fixed?
