Moisture under screen?


Not sure that it's moisture but I have the same condition and it only is visible under fluorescent lighting that's directly reflecting on the screen.. so certain angles. Doesn't affect my view ability under normal lighting at all and it's unplayable if fluorescent light is directly reflecting off the screen like all devices.

I'm also not so sure that that is moisture. Could be some very closely spaced nearly flat transparent sheets causing Newtons Rings.

This is probably the closest approximation to what I am seeing, and it would explain why pressure on the screen changes the shape of the distortion in a very fluidic manner. If the various layers of an LCD screen are abnormally close to cause this distortion are there any long term effects on the lifetime of the screen?
