Megazeux, an interpreter for Megazeux-Spiele, got updated.

The gp2x version now features more performance and filtered scaling for better image quality.

Filtered scaling, I wonder how well that works. I still wouldn't care to play 640x350 games that much on it.. Wait, this uses Mr_Alert's YUV renderer right? Holy crap, a GP2X app that uses YUV rendering for fine scaling, could it be?! Maybe we could see some emulators use this now too.

You guys should all play my team's last DoZ game, if it works well at all on this port :>
 
Exophase, are you the same guy that did all the work to megazeux itself?

Anyways, I used to play a lot of ZZT but never heard of MegaZeux, this looks very cool, thanks for the update, can't wait to try it...

No.
Mr_Alert wrote a special renderer for the GP2X. It's a 16-bit renderer with (sort of) bilinear scaling.

Oh, that's disappointing. (also kinda weird, does he even have a GP2X?)

I wonder how the performance is. Probably measurably worse...

the porting is very slow but still Caverns is fully playable now :) more complex games such Tayrin of course runs but very slowly

still a VERY good port, thank you
