Made For Emulators?

This won't fit into one's pocket. And they never mention how much batteries should last, that's surely cause it's short. However, battery's hot swapping is cool.

I didn't think the Eve was foldable, but just noticed this on the first link:

Screen unit detaches from the controller. Carry just the screen unit around for media on the go. Swap controllers for a customized gaming experience.

Makes it a bit more portable than I originally thought it was, still gonna be bulky though :/

Also sounds like the screen will be able to operate independantly from the controller bit when detached. Thats pretty cool.

He wasnt destroyed for mentioning this, he was destroyed cause he is a pure prick.

This thing looks crap IMO, I would rather a psp if it gets a homebrew scene.

However, if you have a handheld with XP, it already has a library of games to chose from and emulators + internet capabilities. Also, USB devices can easily be added so I'm thinking easy keyboard + mouse.

It's actually starting to look like an ok console.

EDIT:
· Storing favorite TV episodes or films on the console hard drive so that the kids can watch them on a long car journey.
· Saving collections of family photos and home video files on the console, so that these digital memories can be conveniently shared with relatives, friends, and colleagues
The gp32 can already do this. ;)

From the discriptions and *not* from the consept/prototype pictures it sounds like the screen and controller split apart. I can't see it folding right now with the protypes being one unit and two big joysticks sticking out.

Actually it is foldable somebody sent an email, and they answered saying tht it was foldable and that the picture on the site was not actually the actual console (not enough connectors either)

hhmm, would be cool to see a true concept design for this thing.

if prices can be kept down then it has the potential, but then gametrac had potential and that seems to have all but evaporated...
