Greetings -
Has anyone considered porting the MAD MP3 player to GP32 ?
http://www.underbit.com/products/mad/
MAD has the following special features:
24-bit PCM output
100% fixed-point (integer) computation
completely new implementation based on the ISO/IEC standards
available under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL)
Seems like it would be ideal for our integer lovin' GP32(s) !
Unfortunately, AAC support hasn't been added - But MP-2 support is present.
Now that iTunes/Apple are kicking the AAC standard into high gear, would be awesome if GP32 supported it.
(just looking for an easy first project - maybe this isn't it, eh ?)
