Hello:

I don't know if I can ask this here, but Linux sub-forum is empty and with no-use. And this question is almost related to Pandora.
I'm doing a project for my university, about OMAP and BeagleBoard. It's about learning to use OMAP and his DSP for the news developers interested on them.
So, the first step I must do is installing Open Embedded on my Linux system to compile Angstrom for Beagle. Yes, i know there are pre-built images, but i must explain the entire process to obtain them.

I was on http://wiki.openembedded.net/ and it says I must go to http://blog.leggewie.org/?p=39 to look for a .deb install. In there, it says i must install openembedded-minimal, but there are other pakages for some distributions, one of them is Angstrom, but there isn't any file like said on comments.
So I must install openembedded-minimal or i need the openembedded-angstrom package?

Thanks a lot ;)

"almost related to Pandora"...... not at all it sounds like :)

Just be up front, some smart folks, maybe some will help you out; but don't try to trick anyone ;)

I'm working with Beagle Board.
Beagle Board uses OMAP.
OMAP is in Pandora.

They are not related? :D

Have you looked here too: http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/

Angstrom is using Openembedded. You might want to had over to the beagleboard google group to ask around.

I followed another way to compile Angstrom (I just found some tutorials from OE itself and other related wikis) so now i' testing if OE and bitbake are correctly "installed"... but I cannot "bitbake nano" ^^U
But thanks a lot for help, I will see it too.
