    Hey everybody!

I present LaserChess! It's a version of Khet with a space theme instead of Egyptian.
If you are not familiar with the rules of Khet you should check out their website Link

This Caanoo version supports two player with a human friend or single player against the Caanoo. This is my first real attempt to create an AI so any feedback would be great. There are still some optimizations I can do to make it faster. So expect a bigger challenge soon!

    Controls:
Use the analog stick to move the cursor around the game board.
    A, B, X, or Y to select a piece.
Again use the analog stick to select a destination square for the selected piece, or press L or R to rotate counter-clockwise or clockwise.

    Please enjoy! :D

WOW! Thanks! I will try ASAP! :D
I'm very happy that someone is still developing for the caanoo! :D
When it's done and stable, remember to post it on the archive! ;)

Is it controlled via stick or touchscreen?

I've added a section on controls to my original post.
It uses the analog stick for now, touchscreen support may be added later. :)

I have updated LaserChess with some great additions (I think anyways).

You can read all the changes in the readme but here are some big ones:

    Redone menu:
The old one was not very good in that you had to use the touch screen only to go through the menu, then the joypad to actually play.
Menus and gameplay work well with both touchscreen AND joypad now :)

    Change difficulty:
You can now change the difficulty in the options menu. The AI ranges from 1 to 4 ply. 1 ply is VERY stupid and will make mostly random moves.
I suggest 2 for fun and 4 for challenge.

    Sound Effects:
It's much more satisfying when you can hear the pieces explode.

I have updated the link in my original post to the new version. Thanks!
