Laser TB

Researchers have set a new record for the rate of data transfer using a single laser: 26 terabits per second.

Say the bandwidth going into my computer is unlimited. In reality, there still is a lot of processing overhead to read the data from the network card. What would be the maximum capacity (ie how much can the computer actually process per second) of that? Obviously it depends on the machine; let's assume a modern workstation?

Wow! In 24 hours I can potentially download every single porn movie that's ever been made available in the world.
if this was to every machine in the world you could, problem is the endpoint conncetions suck balls unless you're a university on the special networks :p
