Farewell Bob Hoskins

Oh dear, penumonia. Shame. Takes real talent to act in a way that makes it look realistic when they're going to add a cartoon character in. Takes real talent.

R.I.P.

Rest in Peace Bob, illness of all sorts is the greatest leveller in life, money and materialism mean not a lot, but to be remembered for something that has touched people's hearts and imagination is immortal. The Long Good Friday, such an important film, made during the height of the conflicts, an uneasy subject of great importance, and a career spanning all genres, all age groups. He made people smile, and think, God bless you Bob, thoughts are with his family...

I always wondered why such a good actor was playing in so many shitty movies.

Too bad, I always hoped to see him in some real masterpiece before he departs. :/

I liked Mario Bros as a kid somewhat - I wasn't super hyped about it, but it was Ok for me (back then).
