At my workplace we have a "KnowledgeBase" in a lamp-server and it is very usefull. In this case, as with many others, I may suggest that a BeagleBoard as a headless server is the better alternative than using the Pandora.
Unless you have a special usecase in mind that requires the screen and keyboard and don't intend to leave it plugged in and connected all the time, in which case I am genuinely curious and would like to hear your plans
Ah yes, that is a pretty good use case for a portable interactive LAMP.At my workplace we have a "KnowledgeBase" in a lamp-server and it is very usefull.
For my own documentation i like to have a local "lamp-server" which i can use with a web browser.
It's just for me
Not for the world.
Is this what you wanted to read
Something like a PogoPlug might fit him well too. There are guides on turning that into a LAMP, I know that I saw one on LifeHacker not to long ago.
Please, please do this and post a picture. As I joke I should wedge my Beagleboard in to a lamp for my "LAMP" server. think it's fitting, plus I need a reading light.
