fxe title renaming, shortcut launching (number keys are enabled without having to press sms first so you'd have 10 quick shortcuts, or press sms to activate the rest of the keys if you want more), navigation, and anything else I might think of.Jr2swiss posted on Jul 8 2004 at 09:48 PM said:if yafl were to support it y what would it b used for

I think I mapped one of the keys in the lower right as return. "/" maybe? (in CaSTaway)WhizzBang posted on Jul 19 2004 at 03:32 PM said:That sounds great Tyrell - I'll look forward to your next release. I bought a chatboard off Zenocha and it very nice and all and I have tested it out with Castaway. The only problem I had is that the keyboard doesn't have a 'Return' button, and none of the buttons on the pad performed this function. Are all chat boards like this?
The keyboard does have some extra buttons that could be mapped to 'Enter' and 'Caps Shift', and these buttons are marked: 'WWW', 'Attachment', 'E-mail', 'SMS', 'Phonebook', 'Yes', 'No'
I wouldn't really recommend using any of those keys unless it's really necessary. Some can switch the chatboard back to numeric mode (effectively stop it working), and others won't always respond.WhizzBang posted on Jul 19 2004 at 08:32 PM said:The keyboard does have some extra buttons that could be mapped to 'Enter' and 'Caps Shift', and these buttons are marked: 'WWW', 'Attachment', 'E-mail', 'SMS', 'Phonebook', 'Yes', 'No'
I've been using shift+p in my stuff. Partly because it's not used for anything else, and partly because it's roughly where return should beWe should make a standard key to use for return, across apps
