Quit to the gp2x menu with L+R and try again... If it doesn't work after that, reset GP2X...

If you have incorrect romsets, when loading a romset you will got an error and the memory is not freed, then you should quit emulator and launch again or maybe reset gp2x... It is an error in MAME 0.34... sorry.

If you got correct romsets you won't have this problem...

Regards.

Try this: Delete EVERYTHING in your MAME directory (except for the roms) and re-install. You may have a corrupt .cfg file ...

He could just try opening the .cfg file in a text editor to see if it's corrupt. That would save him deleting potentially good rom sets.

What if he doesn't know how to tell if it's corrupt or not? And note how I said (except for the roms), which would denote NOT deleting any rom sets ;)
