In recent weeks, there have been quite a lot of projects unveiled or started, many of which seem to be making quite a bit of headway. And a fair few may involve betas or more advanced betas turning up sometime in the not too distant future.
So I'm just wondering, what with GPFinalWar having progress made on it, the new driving game - at least on PC - underway, the GBA emu slowly surfacing, and the recent Metal Slug tech demo, not to mention Xigon 1 or Mr Miroko's newly announced attempt at MAME (good luck, btw ), or even the fact that GPEngine isn't dead, whether it might be worth having a very very friendly (not too many rules/restrictions on when betas can be released etc.) competition again sometime soon. Perhaps near the end of March/start of April or something?
Just water-testing - what do others think of the idea? And when would it be worth doing, since to have it to soon might be to not get many entries due to projects being green as yet, but to have it late might hold back when people were actually going to release things.
