Still in the early development stages, but iRiver is certainly big enough to see a project like this through. This should make the handheld market VERY interesting in the next year or two (not that the 4 platforms already out aren't interesting).

Personally, I think competition is a good thing.

Hey Draken! anyways yeah I would have to see the specs first but right now it doesnt look very promising.

I dont see any problem with the four buttons on the right side, I mean I do have four fingers on that hand :p

What, you mean you people's thumb isn't that flexible to reach those 4 buttons easily? Buch o' sissies. :p

Looks like crap. It will not come anywhere near successfully competing with the PSP. It will reach about the same market share as the N-Gage (probably less).

The ad campaign will turn around in the 1Q of the product cycle to say "Oh, well, it's really just a media player. I mean, you can play some games on it, but it's not like we ever said we were going to compete with the PSP or something."

I guarantee it.

Heh, if its any good of course i will supply it, but I don't think those 4 buttons would be useable, and how would you hold it to have all four fingers on them exactly?

I dont believe that pic is of the actually unit. Its just a pic of the iriver PMP-120 which play morphun games.

Well, if you won't supply only because of the buttons :) don't worry! Don't bother with those buttons 'cause this is a pic of the old iRiver multimedia player with a flash game on it. Definetely not the real game console. but iRiver PMP-120.
