Joined Jul 23, 2006 Messages 845 Location helsinki, finland Website Visit site Feb 9, 2009 #2 man screen what you want is to first run 'screen' and then irssi (presuming you'll be using that client). when you leave press ctrl-d (not mandatory) and when you return via ssh type 'screen -rd' and you'll pop back in to the old session.
