My Wiz fell from about the height of a chair. When i first tried it, it would only turn on when it was plugged in. After i opened it up to check to see if any connections were broken, it wouldnt start at all. Is there anything i can do to fix this? Any suggestions will help, thanks.

A friend of mine once dropped her Blackberry from the same height and thought she had busted it. I messed with it a bit and it turned out that the drop had somehow loosened the battery terminals on the device. I fixed it by placing a folded piece of paper on the battery so that when the cover was replaced it held the battery more firmly in place.

I'm not saying this is the same as your problem but you could take out the battery and visually check it or gently applying back pressure while turning it on.

Yeah, sounds like something with the battery to me. That would explain why it works when you plug it in. Check all around the battery compartment, terminals, wires etc.
