GP32 I Got Yeti3d To Compile!

Ok just checking because you sounded unsure of yourself "Heh, like I'd ever get THAT done. "
I was not sure if you were joking about the WHOLE thing or just making it super great.

Anyway this is great to hear, and can't wait. Ok I can, because my gp2x is a brick but besides that I can't wait.

Heres a quick little somethin':

I've converted the first level of the game "Metal Gear Solid: The VR Missions" to Yeti using 128x128 textures. It runs pretty decently on a GP32. I haven't gotten the 3D models put in yet, it would help if I had a copy of the JDK. But unfortunately, my internets a bit too slow to download that.

If he could, I would like a copy of whats inside the ZDA files in RTB7's demo.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot...

That version of make requires the cygwin dlls in the bin folder (included in this zip).

You also need to put the old version of gpstart.o in your devkitarm folder (also included).

...or else you'll get big fat compiler errors. :)

You'd be much better off using msys as specified in the setting up instructions

http://www.devkitpro.org/setup.shtml

msys gives you a whole bunch of other nix like tools and keeps your machine free of all that cygwin business.

Hi
I have a question all my experience is in C++. I been coding for years . I hate ask but is yeti 3d a c or c++ app It has a c extension but In Derek's commits "but that will
be after im 100% sure the C++ is as fast as it can be.". Looking at the code I am not sure.
Could some one clarify this for me please?

Hi when I use the BMP_Convert tool then use texture file in the editor most of my textures are messed up except ground texture and brick walls textures is there something I am doing wrong?

Thank you for your time!

For those still reading this, I lost most of the source code and I don't really care about improving Yeti anymore.

What do you mean "most" of the source code, do you keep different files on different drives? :)

This looks like a good engine for a TES: Arena engine

If it could have slanted floors, this might be a fitting engine for Underworld engine.
