the easiest way is to extract the files you need from the d64-diskette image.
i use total commander (norton commander like file-manager) and a plugin that handles .d64-files like .zip-files.
but be careful, some games are single .prg-files and some games load other files during the game. but many games just are a .prg-file stored in a .d64-diskette image (in many disk-images theres the .prg-file and a highscore file, which can be ignored, because frodo cant save).
Don't forget that many D64 images with multiple programs are compatible with Frodo, you just need to attach the D64, and then load the required program, rather than using the auto-load feature.
