Hello,
I'm finally in the gp32 community and I find it great I'd like to give the people here sth in return for all the homebrewn stuff that I like.
Since I'm using Linux, the utility of choice for GP32 transfers is gplink. It nevertheless lacks many features : installation of fxe via fpk files, more display modes for info command (equiv of -h option of ls, for instance), ability to transfer files whose size is more than 4Megs, error recovery with problem description, progress bar during transfers (win$ utility does it), ability to transfer directories, wildcard recognition for names on GP side (at the moment, cannot say gplink get GPMM/*), a GUI which is more sophisticated (gtk or qt, with DnD support), handling of spaces in names (should convert spaces to underscores IMHO).
This is the reason why I would like to improve it and maybe to add a more sophisticated GUI (probably gtk) in the future.
Coul you tell me what gplink you are using (with or without the GUI) and list the drawbacks you think it has along with the advantages.
I'm also contacting Mike Dawson (gplink's author) on that point.
Thanks for your help,
Vincent
