How does Freesci work? I already checked the Readme32 and Readme several times but i realy don't get it.

If i start freesci i get a menu but there is nothing to select?
I made a dir GPMM\freesci and there i put a config file. I wasn't sure how to name it so i made two: freesci.cfg and config.txt

From the readme i tried to create a config file but i wasn't sure which options are needed to play a game. Can someone help me out?

This is what the config file looks like:

[kq4]
resource_dir = dev0:\gpmm\kq4

pic0_dither_mode = flat

pic0_dither_pattern = unscaled

pic0_brush_mode = more-random

pic0_line_mode = correct

dirty_strategy = 1

pic0_scaled = yes

view_filter = trilinear

mouse = no

*** Just found out that you don't need to use a extension. It works now.
But i wonder if the the options are nessary

The only real option that I've noticed make a difference on the GP32 version is:

pic_antialiasing = simple

and it does exactly what it says... simple antialiasing (on the backgrounds) if your a fan of not having any modifications from the original game you might not like it but it has it's advantages because it makes the background seem a little bit more cartoony.

you can run without any of the options it's just a matter of preference.

Ric why don't you search the forum? <_<
I had the same problem a long time ago....

Hooka, so you can use the antialising function on your gp32?
But does this option make the games run slower?? (doesnt it need more power?)
I have to try it

I'll try to make the readme a bit clearer for the next release. ;)

None of those options are necessary, except ofcourse resource_dir. Btw, if you want to set options for all games at once you should put them at the beginning of the config file, before any game tags. If you put them below a game tag they will only apply to that game.

All options are described in the README file (the regular one, not README.GP32).
