I just got a Wiz and it was on firmware 1.0.0 and I downloaded the update to 1.2.6
My Wiz has a full battery as of the writing of this topic.
- I copied all the contents of the zipped file to the root of my 2 GB SD card
- I Inserted the SD Card into the Wiz and pressed R Button while turning it on
- The Firmware upgrade screen appeared so I released the R Button
- After about a minute the image on the screen became corrupt and it's been like that for 30 mins now
It said it was only suppose to take 15 minutes. I can I tell if the firmware update has completed successfully?
I don't want to break my new Wiz, is there something I should do to prevent damage before the battery dies?
***Edit I decided to turn my Wiz off and on again and after I checked the firmware it looks like the update was successful.
