Handheld History!

I could scan the whole page. It is only a timeline, not an article. Seemed to turn out bigger than I thought it would. I have a HP scanjet 4570c. I love it. It is the best scanner I have ever yet owned.
Here it is, I tried to make it smaller.

And what about the Sega GameGear, Sega Nomad, Game Theory Admiral, Pocket Famicom, and Gameboy Advance SP? If they're gonna list the regular advance AND the micro, they should have the SP too... and what about the original Gameboy? Or are there other systems on a different page?

pocket famicom and game theory admiral arent officially endorsed consoles so why would they be in there, and the SP is still just a GBA with a better case and backlight.

Everything else you mentioned may be on the other page of the article as this is Vol.2, 1998 and up.

Yeah, I know the SP is just a GBA with a different case and a light, but so is the Gameboy Micro, so what's your point?

It doesn't matter if they're "officially endorsed" or not. Who "officially endorsed" the GP32? They still exist whether they're officially endorsed or not. The page says "Handheld History," not "Officially Endorsed Handheld History," So what reason do the ones I mentioned have to not be there?

And yeah... I see now that it says volume 2, but I didn't notice at the time when I made my first post, so my bad about the gamegear, regular gameboy, and nomad.

I agree with some of the things that have been said in the this thread concerning this time line. I immediately asked my self where is the GB SP. If you are going to picture two variations of the Advance why not all? Here is a scan of the other part of the time line that was in the previous issue. My only reason for opening this thread was because GP32 was included in this time line. It was sort of like being in a race. You didn't win, but someone noticed you ran. In the first part of the time line I have to ask where is the “Game & Watch.” And yes there seems to be some bias to little known handhelds. This magazine is published by Ziff Davis Media who publishes a lot of video game mags and should be well aware of all the stuff out there. <_<

the adventure vision is mad rare. it catually is considered to be the kind of 'holy grail' of gaming collectors. It's my dream to one day own one

they go for quite a bit, well over 2000 US. A complete set goes for near 5000 US ;)

just some background on a great rare system :)
