Halloween

For October, I've been watching some classic scary movies lately, things like Audition, Halloween, The Excorsist, Psycho, Evil Dead, Trick 'r' Treat. I've still a few movies to go that I have planned to watch soon, which I was hoping to get through by halloween. None of the movies are the remakes, but the originals

@DaMummy: Cool. I usually watch those (not the Exorcist though, that's too much for me), but alas I'm too scared to watch them alone, lol

for me the perfect Halloween movie is Hellraiser, either that or Rocky Horror Show

@DaMummy: I love Audition too but it makes my ankles hurt every time i watch it

The Shining is next on the movie list, as in tomorrow, only picked the evil dead today because i didnt have time to watch a 2.5hr movie, so chose a 1.5hr. Ive seen the Hellraiser series, never rocky horror show though. i dont see a bluray release of May, so that gets passed up like Ginger Snaps

I have seen Shining again the weekend before the last one.

This scene matches my humour:

Fun facts: the pages where really written with an ordinary Typewriter, nothing faked. Poor Secretary that had to do that but Stanley Kubrick was Stanley Kubrick of course so there were also pages in different languages (and content) for different Countries. For instance, in the german Version is written "Was du heute kannst besorgen, das verschiebe nicht auf morgen". Meaning something like what you can do today, don't wait with it till tomorrow.

Have a GHOULISH day!

Some great avatars here, great film choices too, Shining is a definite spooky one ... For me, the Bathroom scene was most disturbing as a young lad when I first watched it ... Not going to link it due to nudity... [but go check it :) ]
