how good is it, what extensions does it read?
is there a gui?

~Octavious

( thx for the responce btw )

It is quite good!

It can use X window or the framebuffer.
It can rotate pictures (since GP32Linux framebuffer is 90° rotated)
It has a file browser

It can read XPM, GIF, JPEG, TIFF, PNG, photoCD formats.

Here is the url:

The epeg library could be interesting as well:
"Epeg is the worlds fastest JPEG thumbnailing library on the planet."

What files do I download?
Where do I put what from them on the GP32 or USB device?
What do I do to run it ( I don't need command line , but do I have to modify files? )
Sorry, I am still getting used to all this

YAY
just got my chatboard today, damn those things are small
anyways, I am running under the Micro2 release on ur site
I go to terminal, and it says I have 400kb ram left
is that natural??
anyways I could increase that number?
also, is it posable to view files ( pictures ) on my GP32 SMC using this until I get my USB deviec established?
If so , how??
also, wher do I put things to make that Picture viewer?
Where at in the USB or SMC do they go?
I am so impressed with this, its pretty neat what you have here

One more thing, is the yes key the only key that acts as enter?
everytime I enter a command, it wont typr again till I hit SMS again

~Octavious
( damn the chatboard is small by the way lol )

EDIT
woot, I read a txt file via Linux!!
WOOT! ( ya, I suck )
I also made a folder on the SMC, well, almost, it reminded me that there is no SMC writing yet....
anyways, so, I can read txt files, now, how do I go about finding the .exe or whatever I need to put a app on my GP and how do I run things via Linux? ( whats the command? )
I am actually taking a stupid Linux class, but I got folder navigation mostly down, and some other commands, like more, free, pwd, and stuff like that
Soon, Ill be ready to get myself a USB HDD
